Davitha Ghiassi is Executive Director of Social Media and Integration at Red Agency, one of Australia’s most highly awarded PR, Social and Experiential agencies – part of the Havas Worldwide network.

Dav built Red Agency’s specialist social media offering up to a thriving team of fourteen dedicated social media marketers across the agency’s Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane offices over the past two years.

Whilst steering and developing the agency’s offering the business has brought on a wide range of clients in the social space – delivering a wide remit of social media services for clients such as Toyota Australia, Moët Hennessy, S-26 Gold Toddler, Goodness Beauty Lab, Heineken Australia, Bio Oil, NSW EPA, Sanofi, Reckon and SunRice.

Before joining Red Agency, Davitha learned the social ropes across a variety of agency types and roles – starting out in the creative agency space at Saatchi & Saatchi before moving on to more niche and specialised digital/social agencies such as Channel T and REBORN where she was able to drive rapid social growth within a short space of time.

It is Dav’s belief that in social the lines between owned, paid and earned media aren’t just crossing – but merging. She views Social Media as the ultimate marketing ‘swiss army knife’ and her core passion lies in utilising each of its capabilities and strengths in unison to deliver true business impact through strategic and creative ‘Merged Media’ solutions.
