WHAT IS FANTASTIC FOOD+DRINK?

FANTASTIC FOOD+DRINK is the nation’s only event focused entirely on the fast growing specialty food category, including: artisanal, local and free-from, international foods and flavours, specialty and craft beverages, confectionery and snacks, and fresh products like bakery, meat, cheese, deli and produce.

It’s where you’ll get a first-hand look at breaking trends, new product introductions and the latest offerings in every category.

WHO CAN ATTEND?

FANTASTIC FOOD+DRINK is strictly a trade only event. Entry is restricted to food and beverage professionals, food retailers and wholesalers and hospitality professionals responsible for food purchasing decisions. Persons not in these categories (including children under 16 and students) will not be admitted at any time. Identification may be required at the door.

HOW CAN I REGISTER?

HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY EXPO PASS?

Once registered, you will receive a confirmation by email. Bring your confirmation email to the Expo and scan it at the Self-Registration/Self-Check-In Kiosk to receive your pass/badge.

WHAT TIME DOES ONSITE REGISTRATION OPEN?

Registration counters open at 9:00am each day of the Expo for 2017.  2018 is currently TBC.

 

CAN STUDENTS ATTEND?

No. This is a business event and entry is restricted to those people actually working in the industry.

 

CAN I BRING MY FAMILY?

No. This is a business event and entry is restricted to those people actually working in the industry. The only exception is infants under one year that cannot be separated from their primary caregiver. If you bring an infant we strongly recommend that you carry them in a pouch, due to crowds (strictly no prams).

ARE THERE CHILD-MINDING FACILITIES?

No. If you are traveling from interstate we suggest you organise a baby-sitter through your hotel or by looking up ‘Baby Sitters’ in the Yellow Pages.

DO I NEED A VISA FOR AUSTRALIA?

Most visitors will require a visa to enter Australia. Please contact your local travel agent or Consulate well in advance to arrange your visa requirements and ensure your passport is valid for at least six months after the date of arrival in Australia. CAN YOU PROVIDE ME WITH AN INVITATION LETTER TO APPLY FOR A VISITOR VISA?

It is not our company policy to provide invitation letters to visitors wishing to attend our shows. For more information on applying for a visa visit the Australian Department of Immigration and Citizenship website.

WILL I NEED TO BRING IDENTIFICATION WITH ME?

Yes. Proof of industry involvement may be requested at the registration counters or the entrance. We suggest you bring along business cards, invoice or company documentation along with personal identification such as a driver’s licence or passport.

DO I NEED TO PRE-REGISTER FOR INDIVIDUAL SEMINARS?

No, if you hold an All Access Pass or a Summit Pass. Seminar seating is allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis. Seminars or workshops are limited by the number of seats in the room.

If you hold an Expo Pass and would like to upgrade to either an All Access Pass or Summit Pass, you will be able to upgrade when ticketing sales are open.

WHERE CAN I PARK?

ICC Sydney has 1,200 secure car parks and there are a number of others in and around Darling Harbour.

WHAT ARE THE CONDITIONS OF ENTRY?

Fantastic Food+Drink is strictly a trade-only event. Entry is restricted to trade professionals working in retail, foodservice, hospitality, distribution, manufacturing and supply of exceptional quality food and beverage products. Identification may be required at the door. Proof of business identification may include a business card in your name, or employee verification on company letterhead.

Persons NOT in these industry categories, including children and students under the age of 16, primary/secondary students (regardless of course of study) and Tertiary students will NOT be admitted at any time.

Please note that for safety reasons, children under the age of 16 will NOT be admitted into the Expo. Nursing infants in baby carriers are the only exception; prams, strollers and trolleys (i.e shopping trolleys) will not be allowed inside the exhibition halls. This applies to the children of both visitors and exhibitors.

Under no circumstances are any children permitted into the exhibition halls during Move In and Move Out of the show.
